About Elizabeth
I currently work in EYFS in a joint Nursery/ Reception class. Prior to this I spent 4 years teaching in KS1, teaching a Year 2 class for 2 years in an 'Outstanding' school. This gave me a lot of experience in preparing children for the end of KS1 SATs. I have also taught in a Year 1 class for 2 years and enjoy working with children at this vital stage of their education very much. I have experience of teaching in Yr 4 and Yr 6.

I am a friendly and approachable qualified primary school teacher. I currently work in EYFS, but have spent 3 years teaching in KS1 and also have experience of teaching in Yr 4 and Yr 6. I have had lots of phonics training and experience of phonics teaching, so can provide valuable support to children who need extra help to prepare them for the KS1 phonics screening or just to help with their reading. I also enjoy teaching all primary subjects and look forward to tutoring children and encouraging their love of learning.
Encouraging a love of learning is my key approach to teaching and tutoring. I work hard to get to know my students so that I know what appeals to them and will enable them to achieve their highest potential. I engage children through an interactive and fun based approach to learning which will develop their confidence and understanding of the subject in which they need support.
