About Dorota
I am an FE/HE lecturer with almost 20 years' experience teaching psychology. I have a BA (Hons) in Psychology, MA in English Studies, PgCert in Positive Psychology and a PGCE. I have spent 12 years teaching A levels, 8 years teaching Access and 6 years teaching on undergraduate courses in psychology and criminal behaviour. I have also supervised a range of undergraduate research projects and BA dissertations, which have prepared me to support students struggling with their research methods and statistics modules. I love teaching psychology, and I look forward to helping any student wanting to learn and understand it better.

I offer bespoke 60-minute tutoring sessions at levels 3, 4 and 5, designed to identify and respond to each tutee's individual learning needs. Each session begins with a recap/assessment that informs its content, activities and independent study tasks. My lessons are well-paced and engaging and they resonate well with tutees' experiences. I aim to inspire and engage while equipping my tutees with strong research, study and assessment skills. I am happy to help tutees with both topic content, research skills and academic writing skills or any combination of these.
