About Matthew
I am a professional saxophonist/teacher and graduate of the Royal Academy of Music who loves to share his passion for music! Alongside performing regularly around London in a number of ensembles, I also teach at Abercorn School and on the Mehr Clef summer school. Some of my students have gone on to study at Berklee College, Guildhall School of Music and Drama, and Birmingham Conservatoire.

Coming from a classical background, jazz was a new beginning. Matthew's deep insight into jazz harmony and brilliant teaching ability has really helped me learn not just at the instrument, but really get to grips with the music. He's very patient and knowledgable and I can't recommend him highly enough.
