About Emily
I have been playing piano since I was three years old and have developed a strong passion for music throughout the years. I am currently a Grade 8 pianist and have experience playing a wide range of music, from classical pieces to more modern songs. Piano has always been an important part of my life, and I particularly enjoy learning challenging pieces, developing my technique and expressing emotion through music. Alongside piano, I also play guitar and sing, which has helped me develop a broader understanding of music. I’m passionate about sharing my love of piano with others and helping students discover how enjoyable and rewarding learning an instrument can be.

I believe piano lessons should be enjoyable, encouraging and completely stress-free. Having learnt piano myself, I understand how difficult and overwhelming it can feel when you’re just starting out and progressing, so I’m patient and happy to work at each student’s own pace. I want students to feel comfortable asking questions and telling me what they’d like to learn, whether that’s a particular song or a new style of music. While helping students develop their technique, reading and overall confidence, I’ll make sure lessons stay fun and centred around music they genuinely enjoy
