Hello, my name is Amy and I am passionate about teaching children of all age groups and abilities. I am a trainee Primary school teacher, completing my second year at St Mary’s University. After sitting A levels in English Literature and Creative Writing, I have developed a love of literature, and as a result, I am specialising in English for my degree. My subject knowledge of the Primary Curriculum is current and expansive.

I am always looking for creative and engaging ways to make my lessons fun and interactive, as I am a firm believer that learning takes place when people enjoy what they are doing and so are motivated to learn. This is why I aim to make my lessons as fun and interactive as possible, as no learning should like a chore.
I have a bubbly and friendly personality, making me easy to get along with. I am very calm and patient and will go above and beyond to help young people achieve their full potential. This is why my lessons are tailored to suit the strengths and needs of each student.
