About Rechelle
Hi, I’m Rechelle, a dedicated paraprofessional with hands-on classroom experience supporting elementary students in both reading and math. I am currently completing my degree in education and have consistently been recognized on the Dean’s List for my academic performance. Working daily in a school setting has given me the ability to understand student needs, adapt instruction, and provide meaningful support.
I am patient, reliable, and committed to helping students grow both academically and confidently. Hi! I’m Rechelle, a classroom paraprofessional and future licensed teacher with daily experience supporting elementary students, especially in reading and math. My teaching approach is structured, supportive, and engaging, using research-based strategies from the science of reading to build strong foundational skills and confidence.
In a typical lesson, I start with a quick review, introduce a focused skill (such as phonics, fluency, or comprehension), model the skill, then guide students through practice before allowing them to apply it independently. I provide immediate feedback and adjust instruction based on student needs in real time.
What sets me apart is my hands-on classroom experience and my ability to break down skills in a way that makes learning click for students who may be struggling. I focus on building confidence, not just correct answers.
My lessons are best suited for elementary students, especially those who need extra support in reading, decoding, fluency, or basic math skills.
