About Shilpa
I am a student who has experience as a mentor, teacher and counsellor. I got an A* in the biology spec for a level and have successfully helped students go up to an A in GCSE and a level tutoring. I've helped SEN students and those who were learning English as a second language at GCSE stage go from a fail to above average for their year!

I like to be creative when it comes to helping others learn using colour and demonstrations as well as notebooks and pens. Understanding difficult concepts can't just be taught by the textbook, I like to break things down to their simplest form and strengthen the core understanding which will make progress so much faster. Examiners love to test students with tricky questions but with practice anyone can improve!
