About Malachi
As an enthusiastic math tutor, I love making numbers come alive for younger students! I specialize in helping elementary kids (K-5th) build confidence and overcome math anxiety by bringing lessons out of the textbook and into the real world. By using hands-on gardening activities, I turn abstract math concepts into fun, memorable outdoor experiences that kids truly enjoy.

Is your child struggling with math, or do they just need a fun way to practice? I am offering interactive, outdoor tutoring sessions that use the magic of gardening to teach elementary math to kids in Kindergarten through 5th grade!
How we use the garden to learn math:
Counting & Shapes (K–1st): Counting seeds, sorting leaves by shape, and measuring plant heights.
Fractions & Data (2nd–3rd): Dividing garden beds into equal fractions and graphing plant growth over time.
Word Problems & Area (4th–5th): Calculating the perimeter of planting areas and budgeting for garden supplies.
We turn abstract numbers into real, tangible objects they can touch and see. Let's make math fun and watch your child's confidence grow!
