About Ramsundar
Hello! I am Ramsundar Athi, and I am a first year medical student at UCL. I really enjoyed learning Chemistry throughout my school education, and I achieved an A* in my Chemistry A Level, demonstrating my proficiency in this subject. I have a passion and drive for teaching; for this reason, I would like to tutor students for GCSE and A Level Chemistry, to help them achieve success in their future exams!

I really enjoyed learning Chemistry at GCSE and A Level. By achieving a Grade 9 at GCSE, an A* (91%) at A Level and Silver in the Cambridge Chemistry Challenge, I have demonstrated my proficiency in this subject. Through mentoring fellow students in my school in GCSE Chemistry, I have developed the skills required to break down complex topics in a simpler format, allowing me to build up students' knowledge, understanding and confidence. Whilst Chemistry can seem daunting, I have found that having a solid understanding of the core principles massively helps when answering exam questions. Rather than memorising large amounts of facts, I think that it is more important to grasp the basics, then intuitively apply these to exam questions. This will allow students to focus their revision to achieve better outcomes in their exams. During our 1 hour sessions, I will go over particular concepts the student finds difficult, aiming to improve their knowledge and understanding using past paper questions and diagrams.
