About Simmy
I'm Simmy and currently studying the IB Diploma in Year 12 (sixth form), which consists of six subjects: French, English Literature, Global Politics at higher level, and Spanish, Computer Science, Maths at standard level. I have a strong passion for literature and would love to help others succeed in the field. I took my GCSEs in 2024, and therefore can give relevant and authentic support from a friendly student perspective. I have tutoring experience, with peer mentoring of GCSE French at school and voluntarily working for a local tutor for the 11+ exams over the summer. My goal is to build confidence in students in English literature and language so that they feel more at ease in the classroom, excited to ace their exams and able to progress their essay writing/analytical skills in the real world context.

The texts I did for Edexcel GCSE English Literature were "Macbeth", "Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde", "An Inspector Calls", and poetry from the "Conflict" collection.
