About Anya
Hi! I'm Anya, a Medical Physiology and Therapeutics student at the University of Nottingham with a passion for learning and helping others achieve their academic goals.
Although I now study science at university, English Literature was one of my favourite subjects at school, and I achieved full marks in my GCSE. I particularly enjoyed exploring different interpretations, analysing texts and developing strong essay-writing skills—skills that I now use regularly in university assignments, research and academic writing.
I understand that English Literature can feel challenging, especially when it comes to analysing texts or writing essays under exam conditions. My aim is to make lessons engaging, supportive and tailored to each student's needs, helping them build both confidence and the skills needed to succeed.

My lessons are tailored to each student's individual needs, whether you're aiming to improve your confidence, strengthen your essay writing or achieve the highest grades in GCSE English Literature.
Having achieved full marks in GCSE English Literature myself, I understand what examiners are looking for and can help you develop the skills needed to write clear, analytical and well-structured responses. Together we'll work on interpreting texts, analysing language and literary techniques, building strong arguments and mastering exam technique.
Lessons can include:

Close analysis of language, form and structure
Developing critical thinking and interpretations
Exam-style questions and mark scheme practice
Revision strategies for set texts and poetry
