About Mike
Hello, nice to meet you. I am Mike and I have been teaching in schools across the East Riding of Yorkshire for approximately 10 years. I love spending time with and teaching my children about the world and discovering new things with them, I ask them to question everything and teach them to try and think independently. I have a dog and I support Liverpool FC. Let's have a chat and go on an English adventure together.

I am a calm, patient, professional teacher and I try to embed fun and engaging topics into my lessons. I offer help with GCSE English Language and Literature. I currently home school my children with my wife and try to encourage learning geared towards their needs, making learning relatable and purposeful. Helping and supporting people of all ages and backgrounds develop their love of English, including: creative writing, poetry, communication and non-fiction texts. The lessons are for people from age 11 upwards with a typical lesson being 30 minutes to an hour.
