About Ebenzer
I’m a Year 13 student studying A-level French and am predicted an A*. I achieved a Grade 9 in GCSE French and genuinely love the language, particularly how it allows you to communicate with people and explore different cultures.
I have experience mentoring students in French, helping them identify and overcome specific difficulties with grammar, vocabulary and communication. Through mentoring, I’ve seen how targeted support can help students understand topics more clearly, become more confident answering questions and feel much more comfortable using French independently.
I was also part of a regional-winning French debating team, which has strengthened my speaking and communication skills. My goal is to help students build a strong foundation, improve their exam performance and become more confident across listening, reading, writing and speaking.

My approach is centred around understanding what each student struggles with and targeting those key areas. We will strengthen the foundations of French, including grammar, tenses and vocabulary, before building confidence across listening, reading, writing and speaking. Lessons will be adapted to each student’s needs and focused on making steady progress.

I was the French teacher of Ebenezer and what a superstar he is. He used to always go the extra mile and was already tutoring some of his classmates for French when he was in Y11.
He self-taught himself some of the more obscure French tenses as well as Italian.
He has lots of patience, excellent subject knowledge, and I would trust him to tutor my own kids without a doubt.View more recommendations
