About Vikram
I'm currently a sixth form student, and I recently achieved a Grade 9 in GCSE French. I know first-hand how daunting the exams can feel, especially when you're aiming for the top grades, which is exactly why I decided to start tutoring. I really enjoy helping other students succeed and seeing their confidence grow as things start to click, whether that's mastering a tricky grammar point or finally feeling ready to use more advanced vocabulary in their writing and speaking. Because I've been through the GCSE course so recently myself, I have a clear, up-to-date understanding of what the exams require and what actually helps students improve. Having achieved a Grade 9 myself (97%), I know exactly what examiners are looking for, from high-level vocabulary and sophisticated phrases to the exam technique that separates a good answer from a top-mark one. Together we'll work on building a bank of advanced language you can use confidently across speaking, writing, reading and listening, while also strengthening any weaker areas so nothing holds you back on exam day. Whether you need help refining an already strong grasp of French or want a clear plan to close the gap to a 9, lessons are structured around your goals, your exam board, and where you currently are.
