About Craven
My name is Kit, I’m 18 years old, and I recently completed sixth form at a UK boarding school, achieving an A* in French. Having grown up in the South of France with one English parent and one French parent, French has been a natural part of my life from childhood. It was the language spoken at home, at school, and throughout my social life, allowing me to develop a fluent and authentic understanding of both the language and culture. I’m passionate about teaching French because I genuinely love the language and believe it is an incredibly valuable skill that opens doors academically, professionally, and socially.

My lessons focus primarily on expanding vocabulary, improving conversational fluency, and developing clear, confident pronunciation. Lessons typically last one hour, while the first session is a relaxed 30-minute introduction where we discuss your background, goals, and current level of French. This allows me to understand exactly where you are in your learning journey so I can create a personalised approach and set clear short-term and long-term goals for future lessons.
