About Shanum Sheza
My favourite part about teaching is seeing the significant progress that students make, and that all their effort leads to successful outcomes. As someone, who's greatly benefitted from teachers and tutors, I'd love to give back with the knowledge and techniques I have learnt by achieving all Grade 9s and 8s at GCSE.

My approach to English Language is as follows: I will instruct you on how to structure your answer to attain the highest band, we will then do an example together, where I will be able to identify your weak areas. Within the lesson, you will then have a go at a similar question, and I will give you detailed feedback and model answers for each question. My approach to English Literature is as follows: I will look through all the past paper questions for the relevant text, and make a plan on which themes/parts of the text to cover first based on your weaknesses. As a baseline, I will give you Grade 9 Model Answers and Analysis for each theme and quote, that can be easily applicable to most questions. We will work through an exam question together, and then I'll give you the opportunity to do an exam question in timed conditions, with detailed feedback and exemplar answers being given. Homework will be to practise a relevant exam question, after each lesson!
