About Keira
I’m a Chemistry tutor with 6 years of experience teaching GCSE, A-Level, and university students. I cover all major exam boards and teach Physical, Inorganic, and Organic Chemistry, including atomic structure, moles, bonding, redox, energetics, kinetics, equilibria, acids and bases, electrochemistry, transition metals, and organic synthesis. I also support spectroscopy, analytical techniques, and required practicals.
Over the past 6 years I’ve helped students move from grade 4 to 8, secure A* grades for medicine and dentistry, and succeed in first-year and second-year university modules. My approach is visual and method-based. We break complex topics into clear steps using models, diagrams, and worked calculations so you understand the “why” behind every equation.
Lessons are calm, structured, and tailored to you. We target weak areas first, then practise with past papers, mark schemes, and examiner reports. I’ll show you how to set out multi-step calculations, write strong 6-mark answers, and ace practical write-ups. University students get help with problem sheets, lab reports, and linking theory to data.

My lessons are structured, interactive, and tailored to your level. Whether you’re tackling GCSE balancing equations, A-Level organic mechanisms, or university modules in physical, inorganic, or analytical chemistry, we focus on understanding first, then applying.
Each session starts with your goal: a topic you find tricky, a past-paper question, or a required practical. I break down concepts like moles, bonding, redox, energetics, kinetics, equilibria, and spectroscopy using clear models, diagrams, and step-by-step logic. We work through calculations slowly so you see the method, the units, and the reasoning. No memorising without meaning.
For GCSE and A-Level, we link content directly to the specification and mark schemes. We practise 6-mark answers, multi-step calculations, and data analysis from practicals. I’ll show you how to read questions, set out working for full marks, and avoid common mistakes. University students get help with problem sheets, lab report writing, research papers, and linking theory to experimental results.
Sessions are patient and judgement-free. Bring any question. We use past papers, flashcards, and quick recall to build knowledge that lasts. You’ll leave with clear notes, worked examples, and a plan for what to revise next. The goal is simple: make chemistry logical, visual, and predictable so you walk into exams confident.
