Hello! My teaching philosophy could be described in 3 words: engaging, effective and unique. As I am still a 2nd year University student I find it easy to interact with GCSE students, consequently I hope the student looks forward to the lessons aswell as learning from them. I am also an optimist and I look to go that one step higher so if the student has a desired grade of a '4' (judging from the new school system) then I look to push them to achieve a '7'. This desired improvement I believe can only be possible through a tutor and a student who are both dedicated, share a close professional relationship, and have a smile on their faces as they work, and this is what I will provide.

I am a 2nd year going on 3rd year University student at the Russell Group acclaimed Cardiff University. I have taught various people casually throughout secondary school, sixth form and university to help them over exceed their desired GCSE maths target.
I am a confident public speaker and to example I was captain for my Sunday League football team and now I am captain for my University football team. Also I am skilled at getting my point across in an uncomplicated manner so the student knows exactly the steps I have undertook to reach a result. Finally I like being around people in a healthy, positive atmosphere because this is the best way to produce results.
I am not someone who has endless qualifications or experiences which to the naked eye may seem impressive. Instead I am a down to earth, normal person who the student will be able to relate too. I have the relative experience and social skills to comfortably deliver my criteria of achieving high quality GCSE (or below) maths lessons in a happy atmosphere at a low financial rate and, with the ultimate goal of the student exceeding their predicted target Maths grade.
