About Rahim
Hi, I’m Rahim, and I have over two years of experience tutoring GCSE Maths at both Higher and Foundation level, as well as Primary Maths. I have worked with students of all abilities, including those with SEN, dyslexia, and gifted and talented learners, adapting every lesson to suit their individual needs and learning styles.
I have recently completed my A-levels in Mathematics, Economics, and Business and am predicted to achieve AAB. I will be studying Accounting and Finance at Queen Mary University of London, with the long-term goal of becoming a Chartered Accountant.
I began tutoring at the start of Year 11 as a small side job, but it quickly became something I genuinely enjoyed. While helping students improve their grades is always rewarding, what motivates me most is seeing their confidence grow. About the lesson

I begin by assessing each student’s current ability using a graded assessment paper to identify strengths and areas for improvement. I then create personalised lessons focused on the topics they find most challenging, using clear explanations, worked examples, and guided practice to build confidence and understanding. Once these topics have been mastered, students complete the same assessment to measure their progress before moving on to the next grade level. I provide parents with regular updates on their child’s progress and set homework after every lesson to reinforce learning. In the final months leading up to exams, lessons focus heavily on past paper practice, exam technique, and time management to ensure students are fully prepared and confident for their exams.
