About Genevieve
I will work with your strengths to get you to a place of confidence and calmness. When you step into the exam hall in May/June, you'll be in a place where you know you are doing the best that you can.
We will work together to get through past papers, work on gaining maximum marks on mathematical questions through better habits. We will look at the content that you need to learn - one grade up from your current working-at grade - so you can make that leap and beat your target.

I work to help students to not only learn the content but to be confident in their exam technique - when my students walk into that exam hall, they are calm, focused and looking forward to showing their best regardless if their target is a 5 or a 9.
My results are available via the Government School Performance tables and are excellent. I am a classroom teacher so my experience is current and always developing.
You can expect your child to be exposed to past papers, to learn techniques to understand what the question is asking, quickly. If they favour maths, then we will lean towards maximising marks for calculations, if they are more secure in English, we will look at extended answer questions.
I have a specialism in Radio Communication (Waves topic) and Astronomy (Space topic - Triple only).
Lessons are 60 mins, £45/hr and aimed at y 10 & Y11 students. I am available Monday and Thursday 4 - 6pm.
