About Jordan
Let me tell you a little about myself and my passion for teaching. I'm a dedicated science and maths tutor because I genuinely believe in the power of understanding these subjects and seeing young people gain confidence in their abilities. I particularly enjoy working with secondary students as it's a crucial time in their academic journey. My experience with children with SEMH needs has shown me the incredible impact that patient, tailored support can have, and I am deeply committed to creating a learning environment where every student, regardless of their challenges, feels safe, supported, and empowered to succeed. Helping a student grasp a difficult concept or seeing their confidence grow is truly why I teach.

My science and maths lessons for secondary students are designed to be supportive, engaging, and specifically tailored to each individual's learning style and needs, especially for those with SEMH. I focus on building a strong understanding of core concepts, breaking down complex topics, and developing problem-solving skills through patient explanation and practice. My goal is not just to improve grades, but to build confidence and reduce anxiety around these subjects, creating a positive and effective learning experience where every student feels understood and capable of achieving their potential.
