I like to chat! So, I've always been passionate about teaching new ideas. Tuition is a very rewarding experience; seeing students transform and watching their confidence grow is a great way to earn money. Methodology: Students need a fresh perspective and a different voice. My tailored approach focuses on building a solid rapport with the student, enabling them to 'buy in' to the session in a relaxed environment. This has proven to be very popular and breeds confidence for the student. I often teach in a Socratic style, enabling the students to understand the thought process they will need to undertake in an examination. Once content has been delivered and foundations are in place, the next phase is to focus on exam technique, establishing how to ensure maximal marks are achieved. Age/Level: Years 9-11 (14-16 years old). Can be any level, from novice to advanced. I have vast experience from a range of abilities. Experience: With over 7 years' experience, starting in Wimbledon, I've now taught students across the country - from home-schooled, to comprehensives and independents. I'm fluent in all major exam boards: AQA, Edexcel, Edexcel iGCSE & OCR. Length: 1 hour lessons are typical.
