I have been a science enthusiast all my life. Though my special interest is biology, I have learnt quite a bit of math, physics and chemistry in my course years. Since English is my first language all through academia, I have been a avid reader of English literature as well. During my stint at Teach for India, I taught various subjects like Math, Sciences and English to 6 to 10th graders. I loved teaching using various techniques, by giving them fun pop quizzes, watching DIY experiments to perform and many other interesting ways to make learning easy.
I am a Genetic Engineer pursuing Master's in Clinical Neuroscience from King's College London. I have always loved experimenting the art of studying with various techniques. Understanding what mode of learning works best for you is the key to master the art. This could be visual, auditory or even conversations and dialogues. I believe a combination of these techniques will help anybody understand a subject clearly and breeze through examinations. Being part of Teach for India, an organisation which works towards this cause has made me a better teacher. I wish to help students and make them enjoy studying as much as I do!
