Geography, Geology, Biology, Environmental Science and Study Skills Tutor in North West London

Methodology

I am student-led and incredibly flexible - a one size fits all approach does not work for studying science! I use a variety of techniques, and also like to use real-life examples and experiences to enhance learning too. In terms of format, I enhance the sessions with extra material suggestions (books, videos, activities).

Background

I am a geologist who has just submitted a PhD at Imperial College. I have taught geology, biology, geography and environmental science subjects and am equally happy to help with study skills and strategy sessions too. I prefer to come to your own home as I feel this builds a positive routine in a familiar place.

Rates

Rate for 5 hours of lessons : £120
Rate for 10 hours of lessons : £240

Details

I have a cancellation policy; I require 48 hours notice for ad hoc lessons. For block bookings at a specified time the lesson can be rescheduled with 24 hours notice.

I am also happy to help with homework and prepare an evening meal alongside tutoring.
