About Arthur
I'm Arthur, a British-French student currently studying International Political Economy at Georgetown University's Walsh School of Foreign Service in Washington DC. Before Georgetown, I attended Marlborough College, where I founded two organizations — one of which raised over $100,000 for a Vietnamese charity — and was selected for a competitive Design & Technology Scholarship, one of only three pupils chosen each year.
My professional background includes internships at OakNorth Bank, Investec, and Arthur J. Gallagher, giving me a grounded, real-world perspective that I bring into my coaching. I'm organized, reliable, and genuinely invested in helping students find and articulate what makes them compelling applicants. I know how daunting the US application process feels from the UK — and I know what it takes to succeed in it.

I'm a first-year student at Georgetown University's School of Foreign Service — one of the most selective programs in the US — and I specialize in helping students successfully navigate the American college application process.
Having gone through this myself as a British applicant, I understand exactly what top US universities are looking for and how different it is from other processes. My sessions cover the full application strategy: choosing the right schools, crafting a compelling personal narrative, writing and refining your Common App and supplemental essays, building your activity list, and preparing for interviews.
The essay is where applications are won or lost, and it's where I spend most of my time with students. I'll help you find an angle that's genuinely yours and shape it into something that stands out to admissions readers.
I also have experience scoring an SAT score in the 96th percentile, and am eager to help with Test Prep.
I work exclusively online and am happy to accommodate UK time zones. Whether you're just starting to think about US applications or deep in the process, I can help you put your best foot forward.
