About Kayla
Hello future student, my name is Kayla, and I am a senior in college. I will be graduating by the end of this year with a degree in Modern and Classical Languages, in addition to an Interpretation & Translation and TEFL certification. With this degree, I would like to be a medical interpreter, but in the meantime, I plan on teaching English as a second language. At this moment, I do not have any teaching experience yet, but I am taking classes in order to retrieve this certification. In addition, I have knowledge of how to sound fluent and natural when translating from one language to another. Overall, with my skills in translation, I can help you sound more like a native English speaker.

My teaching method accommodates to the student's learning style, whether it be auditory, kinesthetic, or visual, this way the student can learn more and get more from the lesson. In addition, I will be incorporating grammar lessons, conversation starters, story times, and games to make learning English fun. My ultimate goal is to make the lesson educational and enjoyable with the focus on the student doing most of the speaking. I believe you can only learn another language by speaking it. All in all, I hope to make the classroom fun and inviting for the student to learn.
