About Anja
I am a German native speaker and have taught German as well as English and French at various levels. I am familiar with the AQA A-level and GCSE requirements, as well as with the Scottish National Curriculum. I live in Scotland since August 2018, before I moved here I lived nearby Munich in Germany.

I individualize my lessons according to the learners needs. I use google slides, the internet, newspaper articles and whatever helps to bring the languages into the classroom.
I believe that conversation in the target language is essential as this gives confidence to the learner and also helps me to see which areas to work on. Also, obviously communication is what languages is about and this is the natural way to learn a language. Depending on the learners needs I work my lessons around the requirements, e.g. the national curriculum for exams. I successfully prepared students for their GCSE and A-Level exams in the past school year.
