About Annie
Hi! I'm Annie, I'm currently studying German and Linguistics at undergraduate level at the University of York. I'm looking for enthusiastic students who share my love of languages - I'm especially keen on the structure and grammar that go into forming a language, as well as how the history and culture of Germany has shaped the way that people interact.
Students should expect a friendly, judgement-free atmosphere in my lessons - mistakes are great learning opportunities! However, I'm a firm believer that practice makes perfect, so expect plenty of exercises and activities to help boost your German skills.

My teaching methods revolve more around understanding the core grammar and syntax of the German language. As well as this, I believe in an immersive approach to language learning, so lessons will include lots of translation, speaking and listening practice.
Lessons will typically be one hour long, most suited to beginners or up to GCSE level.
I am currently a German undergrad student at the University of York looking to gain teaching experience - qualifications include German GCSE grade 9 and German A level grade B.
