About Muhammad
I am a university student currently studying Accounting and Finance at the University of Birmingham. Maths has always been my favourite subject, hence why in my spare time I enjoy teaching it and helping others understand it. I have helped many students become confident in understanding and answering exam style Maths questions, as I like to keep my mind updated with a variety of Maths topics because it also benefits me in my course which involves a lot of Mathematical questions and formulae.

My teaching style is flexible, as I understand what it's like to need help in something you don't quite understand. Therefore, I prefer to let my students ask the questions and choose the topics that they are struggling with, as this way they can improve on their weaknesses and hence maximise their grades. I usually tend to go through a couple of questions with the student on the topic that they are struggling with, and then give them a few similar questions to answer independently, which I then would mark and help them understand any mistakes. This is a good way for me (and them) to see their progress, and once they are comfortable with the topic, I would then give them some related exam style questions to increase their confidence and ability in conquering that specific topic in Maths.
Since I am at university, I only recently completed my A-Level Maths, hence the subject is fresh in my head and I am confidently capable in helping others improve their knowledge in Maths just like I did over the last few years. I can also provide GCSE Maths tuition, which is what most of my past students have required me for. But now that I have finished my A-Levels in Mathematics and achieved high A grades in Core 1, Core 2 and Statistics, I am perfectly able to provide professional support in helping my students to nail these subjects.
