About Frankie
I am an experienced violin tutor with 8 years of teaching practice, working with around 300 students including high school students, college learners, and adults. My teaching philosophy focuses on making learning simple, clear, and effective, as I believe students learn best when lessons are easy to follow.
I pay close attention to fundamentals such as posture, bowing technique, rhythm, and tone quality, ensuring strong skill development. I break down complex techniques into smaller, manageable steps so students can learn with confidence. I also guide students in building good practice habits that support steady progress.
One of my notable achievements is helping students grow into confident violin players. My aim is to create a positive and encouraging environment where students feel motivated to learn.

My teaching style for violin is built on communication, adaptability, and hands-on learning. I assess each student’s abilities, pace, and learning style to design lessons that maximize understanding and progress.
I teach posture, bowing, fingering, intonation, tone, phrasing, and expressive skills while encouraging creativity and personal interpretation. Real-life examples such as performing favorite songs, practicing with accompaniment, and exploring the emotional storytelling in music make lessons engaging and relatable.
I also teach related subjects like music theory, rhythm exercises, ear training, sight-reading, and basic piano skills to develop comprehensive musicianship. My goal is to create a structured, motivating, and inspiring environment where students build confidence, skills, and a passion for music.
