About Martin
I am a Los Angeles native. I currently reside in Alhambra, CA. I played high school tennis, both JV and Varsity singles and doubles. I also played juniors 16's and under and was ranked #315 in Southern California. I was an assistant coach during summer camps for two years at Pierce College. I'm also a volunteer coach with the non-profit tennis organization LOVE SET MATCH, serving and helping students in marginalized neighborhoods in the surrounding Los Angeles county. I’m a USTA Certified Coach and PlaySafe certified.

My lessons are fun, challenging, and engaging. My focus is on the individual, and the student's goal. I believe that preparation and planning are the core of becoming a better student and athlete. So each lesson is planned to cater to each individual's needs. I also enjoy using technology and software to dissect student form and progression.

Perfect! Martin is so great with my 8 year old son! My son was a true beginner and with Martin's teaching technique has learned so much in just a few lessons. He is patient with him and keeps my son's attention for the full hour!
