About Ruxanda
Ironically, English is my second language, although my strongest subject. Therefore, I empathise with struggling students as I understand that was once me. In terms of A-Levels, I had studied abroad in China on a 100% scholarship based on my GCSE results, in which my predicted grades were A* for all of my subjects, which shows my dedication to learning and passion for languages. Planning to study Law, I know my way around books, particularly having enjoyed the Prose and Drama unit within my Pearson Edexcel examinations.

Lessons are typically one hour, in which content is flexible. We can discuss prior if lessons should be more content-based or strictly essay techniques and practice (or a mix). I understand English Literature is a complex and multifaceted subject, therefore always striving to talk about a student's needs beforehand. Best and effective lessons for keen GCSE and A-Level English students, who are looking for high grades. Although I have limited experience in tutoring, looking forward to expand.
