About Kent
I’m a two-time national badminton olympiad medallist and former member of the Indonesian National Squad, with over a decade of competitive experience and a passion for helping others grow through sport. I'm currently completing my Master’s in Management with Finance at the London School of Economics (LSE) and will be joining EY-Parthenon's Private Equity Consulting Division. I want to teach because I’ve seen how powerful the right guidance can be—whether it's refining footwork, sharpening court awareness, or just gaining confidence with each session. I also love sharing the mindset and discipline that elite sport taught me. In addition to badminton, I’m happy to support students with maths tutoring or career mentoring, especially those curious about university, finance, or consulting paths. My goal is to create a learning environment that is motivating, structured, and empowering—where students walk away not just with better skills, but with greater belief in themselves.

My main focus is on private badminton coaching, drawing on my background as a national-level competitor and former Indonesian squad athlete. I specialise in developing a player’s technique, strategy, and mental resilience—tailoring each session to their level and personal goals. Whether you're just starting out or preparing for competition, I’ll help you build solid fundamentals, smart movement, and a champion’s mindset. Beyond the court, I also offer tutoring in mathematics—where I hold two national maths olympiad medals—and career mentorship for students interested in finance, consulting, or university applications. As someone who’s navigated both competitive sport and top-tier academics, I bring a unique, holistic perspective to helping students thrive in multiple areas. Sessions are always personalised, enjoyable, and growth-focused. Whether we’re working on your net play or planning your career path, you can expect a supportive and driven approach every time.

He is so experienced you can tell. I learnt so much about the fundamentals as well as the game sense.
