About Nicole
I have a minor in Japanese from Georgetown University and the lived in Tokyo for 2 years, fully immersed at the prestigious Sophia University (Jochi Daigaku). I came back and opened a Japanese tofu and dessert restaurant in New York City, and I've made many trips back to Japan for work and vacation. I have a Japanese cookbook published by Running Press. Truly, my heart lives in Japan.

My lesson plan would vary by your needs and time before your travel to Japan. If we have some time, we should learn hiragana, katakana, and about 200 basic kanji. We will also learn "set phrases" that are used in certain situations to be polite. I am willing to teach you as much as you'd like to learn! I've worked extensively with children, as well.
