I am a Trombonist in the RAF and brass teacher based in Northwood. I have 4 years teaching experience for two music services, 3 years at the Royal College of Music Junior Department and have had private pupils throughout that time as well.

Bachelor of Music Honours degree from the Royal College of Music in Trombone performance.
Whilst at school I gained a performance Diploma from the ABRSM on Trombone.

- Where do you teach?
I am able to teach at either your house or mine.
I cover the following areas; Ruislip, Northolt, Ickenham, Northwood, Harrow, Rickmansworth.
- When are you available?
I am very flexible with lesson times so please contact me arrange a time.
- Which ages and levels do you teach?
I teach pupils of any age and standard. Although I have specialised in the Trombone the skills involved are transferable to all brass instruments.
- Which qualifications do you prepare your students for?
Although I leave the decision whether to take graded exams or not entirely up to the pupil, I have put all those who have taken practical or theory exams through the ABRSM exam syllabus.
- What kind of experience do you have?
I have worked for the Royal College of Music Sparks programme for 3 years teaching trombone and assisting in musicianship and theory lessons.
For the same period I have worked in the London Borough of Newham as a tutor for Every Child a Musician, I have taught trombone, trumpet and theory to individuals, small groups and whole classes.
Privately I have taught trombone, euphonium and tenor horn.
I have also been a part of Outreach workshops at the RCM working with children of all ages and abilities.

I have an up to date DBS Certificate from RCM and Newham Council.
- Where and with whom did you train?
I attended Chetham's School of Music for sixth form before studying at the Royal College of Music for my Bachelor of Music degree. Whilst at the College my teachers included Byron Fulcher, Lindsay Shilling, Graham Lee and Richard Edwards. Since graduating I have continued to receive lessons from Denis Wick.
