About Jack
About Me
Hi, I’m Jack! I’m a pianist, musical theatre performer and teacher currently training in Musical Theatre at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts in London.
I’ve been playing piano since I was 7 and have always loved how versatile the instrument can be. Over the years, I’ve played a huge range of music, from classical pieces and pop songs to musical theatre, accompanying singers and performing in bands. I’ve also had experience playing in the pit for musical theatre productions.
I’ve been teaching for the past three years, working with classes of children and helping them develop their singing, musical knowledge and confidence. I really enjoy teaching because I love seeing someone go from “I can’t play this” to suddenly being able to play something they’re proud of.
My teaching style is fun, relaxed and encouraging. I don’t think learning an instrument should feel like a chore, so I like to make lessons personal to each student. Whether you want to learn your favourite songs, improve your technique, understand chords and theory, prepare for a performance, or simply become more confident at the piano, I’m happy to work with you.
I’m also happy to teach students who don’t necessarily have a specific goal in mind — sometimes you just want someone to listen to you play, give you some advice and help you figure out where to go next!
I hold Grade 8 ABRSM Piano, Grade 5 ABRSM Music Theory, Grade 8 Trinity Musical Theatre and Grade 6 LAMDA Acting, and I’m continuing to develop my skills as a performer and musician through my training at Mountview.
Whether you’re a complete beginner, an experienced pianist, a child, teenager or adult, I’d love to help you enjoy playing the piano and get the most out of it.

Friendly, Flexible Piano Lessons – All Ages & Abilities
Hi! I’m Jack, an experienced pianist and musical theatre performer offering friendly, relaxed piano lessons for all ages and abilities.
I’ve been playing piano since I was 7 and hold Grade 8 ABRSM Piano and Grade 5 ABRSM Music Theory. I also have Grade 8 Trinity Musical Theatre and Grade 6 LAMDA Acting, alongside several years of performing experience.
For the past three years, I’ve also taught classes of children, helping them develop their singing, musical knowledge and confidence. Alongside teaching, I regularly perform as a pianist in bands and have experience playing in the pit for musical theatre productions.
I’m currently training in Musical Theatre at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts, one of London’s leading drama schools, continuing to develop my skills as both a performer and musician.

I’m a big believer that lessons should be enjoyable and useful, rather than feeling like a chore. If there’s a particular song you’ve always wanted to play, a performance you want help preparing for, or something about your playing that you just can’t quite figure out, we can work from there.
I’m particularly relaxed and encouraging in my teaching style, and I’m happy to adapt lessons to suit younger students, teenagers, adults or anyone who simply wants to become a better pianist.

A great option for younger students, beginners or anyone looking for a shorter weekly session.
45 minutes – £25 BEST VALUE
A great balance of time and price, giving us enough time to properly work on your playing without making the lesson feel too long.
60 minutes – £35
Ideal for more advanced students, longer sessions or anyone who wants to cover multiple areas in one lesson.
Where do lessons take place?
Lessons take place at the student’s home, so you’ll need access to a piano or keyboard.
