Methodology
I am a fun and friendly person who treats each pupil as an individual. I base my lessons around the students ability and strengths so they feel comfortable throughout the lesson and the lesson times are either 30 or 45 minutes long depending on the students age as it is important to keep the enthusiasm and concentration throughout. I plan each lesson in advance and always try to keep progressing in new skills in each lesson.
Experience
I have been playing violin and piano for 15 years and have achieved Grade 8 (ABRSM) in both instruments. I was a member of the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland Junior Academy and attended the Music School of Douglas Academy where I learnt valuable techniques and lessons as a player. I have taught at JT music where I had the experience of teaching children from a beginners level as well as intermediate levels. I am also open to players who are looking to 'brush up' on certain aspects but are not looking for full time commitment.
