About Amy
Hi! My name is Amelia, and I’m a passionate English tutor with hopes of becoming a future English teacher. I’ve always loved reading, writing, and everything to do with English, but more importantly, I love helping others understand and enjoy it too. I know that English isn’t easy for everyone—whether it’s tricky grammar rules, essay writing, or just feeling confident when answering questions. That’s why I aim to make my lessons as engaging and stress-free as possible. I tailor everything to suit each student’s needs, breaking things down in a way that actually makes sense. My goal is to help students build their confidence, improve their skills, and realise that English doesn’t have to be as difficult as it seems. With the right support and a bit of patience, I truly believe anyone can improve. I can’t wait to help more students on their learning journey!

As a high-achieving student with a strong passion for English, I have excelled in my own studies and developed effective learning strategies that I now use to help others (achieving grade nine in English literature and language GCSE and predicted A* in English literature). I have experience working with students of different abilities, helping them build confidence and improve their grades.
