About Jenna
I am currently studying Sport and Exercise Science which includes mechanics modules so therefore have a strong understanding of maths. I have been a maths tutor for 2 years and have seen my students improve in confidence and understanding (references available upon request) I have previously assisted in teaching in year 7 classes and have spent time volunteering in a school which involved teaching many subjects including maths to 100 students.

I am passionate about passing on my love for mathematics to younger students. My lessons focus on the student fully understanding the meaning behind why they work something out in a certain way rather than simply following the steps they are instructed to follow. I also believe it is crucial for the student to establish a clear and coherent way of presenting their workings in order for them to gain as many marks as possible in exam scenarios and therefore achieve the best possible grade.
I structure each of my lessons to the need of the individual in order to bring the very best out of each student.
