About Alexandra
I want my students to feel confident in both their maths abilities and in their own minds. Many people think maths is scary, but I believe it can be fun, creative, and extremely useful in everyday life. Maths opens the door to so many fields and future careers, and helping students realise that is a big reason why I teach. I’m patient, supportive, and genuinely enjoy explaining ideas in a way that makes sense. My goal is to help every student feel capable, motivated, and proud of their progress.

My tutoring approach focuses on helping students understand key maths concepts rather than just repeating exercises. I explain topics clearly and create a supportive, engaging atmosphere that builds confidence. Lessons are usually 1 hour, but I can adjust the length and pace to suit each student. I tutor up to GCSE level and tailor every session to the student’s individual needs to help them progress effectively.
