About Christopher
My name is Christopher, an aspiring piano tutor with Grade 8 piano, A-Level Music, and GCSE Music qualifications. Music has been a huge part of my life, and I'm passionate about sharing that with others.
I decided to start teaching because I would love to share my passion for music with others who are willing to learn.
As a beginning tutor, I bring genuine enthusiasm, patience, and a personalised approach to every lesson — I'm here to help you enjoy the process as much as the progress.

Whether you're a complete beginner or working towards a higher grade (grade 6 maximum, but willing to go higher if needed) lessons are tailored to fit you. As a newer tutor, I bring fresh energy, patience, and a genuine passion for helping students build confidence at the keys, without the pressure or stuffiness of a traditional lesson.
Each session (up to one hour) is built around a personalised teaching approach. I take time to understand how you learn best, whether that's through structured technique work, playing pieces you love, or a mix of both. Lessons combine core skills (reading music, technique, rhythm, and theory) with encouragement and real musical enjoyment, so progress feels rewarding rather than repetitive.
Open to all ages, from young beginners to adult learners, and suited to anyone starting out through to Grade 6 standard. No pressure, no judgement, just steady, supportive progress at a pace that works for you.
