In my tutoring sessions, I blend structured learning with a fun and engaging approach to ensure that every student makes progress while enjoying the journey of learning the saxophone. My methodology revolves around breaking down complex concepts into manageable steps, fostering a strong foundation in technique, and nurturing musical expression from the very beginning. Each 30-minute lesson is carefully crafted to maximise learning efficiency and maintain focus, while still allowing for enjoyable exploration of the instrument. We will start with warm-up exercises to develop finger dexterity and breath control, then move on to simple melodies and scales to build confidence and musicality. Through interactive activities and guided practice, students will gradually expand their repertoire and develop essential skills like sight-reading and improvisation. As a tutor currently studying for my grade 8 qualification, I bring a fresh perspective and a deep commitment to continuous improvement. Although I'm currently in the process of attaining my grade 8 certificate, my ongoing study ensures that I'm deeply familiar with the curriculum, equipped with the latest techniques, and ready to support my students' learning journey effectively. These lessons are designed for beginners of all ages who are eager to learn the saxophone.
