Research has shown that the amount of input in the target language is a big factor towards its acquisition so to reflect that I use the target language as much as I can and try to have my students use the target language whenever they can. Practice is what sets language acquisition apart from language learning so all instruction will be supplemented by activities to cement the instruction and increase fluency. If the topic is the past tense for example then the lesson will include activities that will involve the use of the past tense. These lessons can be based on your needs so they can cover conversational English to help with work or academic English to help with education.
