About Pooja
I am a graduate audit trainee at a top 10 accounting firm, studying towards ACA qualification while working. I studied accounting for GCSE and A-level and obtained A* in both. I have also recently completed Certificate level of ACA in first attemt which is a standalone accounting qualification and involved taking 6 subjects such as accounting (scored 96), management information etc. I have limited experience in formally teaching but I have helped colleagues study and tutored my younger brother from time to time.

I normally explain the topic briefly and focus on practice as accounting is a subject which is easier to pick up by doing questions rather than reading textbooks. Practicing also allows for getting familiar with the style of questions that can be asked in the exam and work on exam techniques. I also personalise the phrasing of my content explanations in a way that would be interesting and relatable to my student.
