About Emily
I am currently studying speech and language therapy at a master's level for a career in this field. I loved studying psychology as an undergraduate and even enjoyed writing essays for it. I currently informally tutor friends by giving them advice about assignment feedback and areas of improvement before their hand-ins. I enjoy doing this, and they find it helpful, so I thought I'd give tutoring a go.

I achieved a first in my undergraduate degree, a BSc (Hons) in psychology, with particularly high marks in the essay writing components (average of 85%). I can help students understand essay feedback for future improvement, identify areas to boost marks before a hand-in and explain module material. I can do this through online video calls or by providing thorough and in-depth annotation of work sent to me. Suitable for anyone studying Psychology and related subjects, up to and including undergraduates. Previous to my undergraduate in Psychology, I completed BSc(Hons) Digital Film and Screen Arts, where I also received a First. Therefore, my tutoring can include students of related subjects such as film or media, where I can focus on helping with their essay writing.
