About Rida
I am a Civil Engineering graduate and currently pursuing a PhD at Massey University, with a strong academic background in mathematics and statistics. Over time, I have developed the ability to explain concepts in a clear and simple way, which helps students feel more comfortable with subjects they often find difficult.
I take my tutoring seriously and always aim to create a supportive and respectful learning environment. I understand that every student learns differently, so I adapt my teaching style to match their pace and level. My goal is not just to help students complete their homework, but to build their confidence and understanding so they can solve problems independently.
I am patient, well-prepared, and committed to helping students improve step by step. Whether a student is struggling with the basics or looking to strengthen their skills, I focus on making learning less stressful and more manageable.

I try to keep my tutoring simple and focused on understanding. I believe students learn better when they really understand the idea, not just memorize formulas. So first, I find where the student is having difficulty, then I explain that part in an easy and clear way.
My teaching style is step-by-step and interactive. I explain a concept, then we solve questions together. I also ask the student to try on their own so they can build confidence. If something is not clear, I explain it again in a different way, sometimes using simple, real-life examples.
A normal lesson is about 60 minutes. This gives enough time to understand a topic and do some practice. I can also adjust the lesson time if needed.
I have a degree in Civil Engineering and I am currently doing a PhD at Massey University. This has given me strong knowledge in math and statistics and helped me explain topics in a simple way.
My lessons are for school-level students only. I can teach primary and secondary students, helping them build strong basics as well as improve their problem-solving skills.
