About Daniel R
Drawing on decades of professional communication experience and a lifelong love of classic authors, I teach with clarity, reliability, and genuine expertise. With over 40 years of professional experience in local government, communication, and technical report writing, I bring clarity, structure, and reliability to every English lesson I teach. My background includes decades of working with complex information systems, digital tools, and public‑facing communication — skills that now support my work as a patient, organised, and highly professional online English tutor.
I hold a TEFL certificate, BTEC Diplomas, and have completed Open University courses in English Literature and Creative Writing, studying authors such as Ibsen, Mary Shelley, and Jane Austen. I also have a lifelong love of Dickens, Tolkien, and C. S. Lewis, whose storytelling continues to inspire my approach to language, expression, and communication.
My lessons are designed for adult learners of all levels, including beginners, returning learners, and professionals seeking to improve their confidence, fluency, or Business English.
