About Molly
I am a graduate cellist from the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire with over 15 years of performance experience in orchestral and chamber music settings. I currently undertake SCITT training in Primary Education (ages 3–7), which has strengthened my ability to teach in a structured, patient, and supportive way. Alongside my teaching training, I offer cello tuition and music theory support for beginners through to intermediate learners. My focus is on building strong technical foundations, musical understanding, and confidence in performance. My teaching style is calm, clear, and step-by-step, ensuring that students feel supported at every stage of their learning. I adapt lessons to suit individual goals, whether that is learning for enjoyment, developing technique, or preparing for graded exams. I aim to make music learning accessible and enjoyable, helping students develop both skill and confidence in their playing.

I offer online cello tuition for beginners and developing players, as well as music theory support.
Lessons typically include:
Cello technique (posture, bowing, intonation, sound production) Beginner to intermediate repertoire development

Optional graded exam preparation (ABRSM/Trinity)
Each lesson is tailored to the student’s level and goals, with a structured but flexible approach designed to build steady progress and confidence.
