About Joshua
I recently graduated from Duke University with a double major in Classics and Computer Science. During my time as an undergrad, I was a teaching assistant for two classes and tutored seven students. I also tutored students in math and science during high school. I love both teaching and learning.
I studied Classical Languages at Duke University where I took classes on Horace, Vergil, Homer, Plato, and more. I excelled in these classes. I have taken Latin since middle school and started Ancient Greek in college.

I build my lessons around the desires and goals of each individual student. Once I understand this, I develop a baseline of the student's understanding and create a curriculum based on all of this. When teaching, I take a deep dive into each subject to build an understanding from the ground up. I believe this results in a true and flexible understanding of a subject.
