About Helena
I am a recent Economics & Politics BA graduate at the University of Reading. Accepted into UCL to do a Private Equity, Venture Capital and Financial Technology Masters. Studied Economics (A*), Politics (A) and Physical Education (B) during A Levels. I've been giving private lessons in person and online since 2018, with all economics students achieving grades A*-A and getting into the universities of their choice.

My preferred teaching method is asking the student to pick the topics they struggle with the most, then talking through each topic in depth throughout the lesson. Going through past papers to pinpoint the areas in which the students have difficulty. Explaining any grey areas where the student has gone wrong. Writing a model answer, then at the end of each lesson using a question and answer method to make sure the student completely understands the topic. Exam style questions and how to perfect all essay writing skills will also be an important part of lessons if the students wish. Overall, the student picks the topics of each lesson so they get the most out of their money and get to go over everything they need.
